THE CREOS APPROACH
Disclosure & communication
Make disclosure evidence-led.
Organize climate and sustainability information for CDP, ESG and customer requests, supporting communication grounded in evidence.
Prepare the report
Define audience and scope, organize governance, targets, actions and performance, and retain sources and responsibilities.
Support assessment work
Understand questionnaires and identify evidence gaps. Ratings remain the decision of the relevant institution.
Labels and communication
Use claims consistent with actual accounting, certification and reduction progress.
Make disclosure answer a business need
Climate communication is more than producing a report. Investors, brand customers, platforms and assessment bodies ask for information for different reasons. Carbonstop's CREOS spreading work connects CDP, ESG reporting, assessment preparation and carbon labels. It begins with the audience and use of the material. A current questionnaire or customer request can identify the topics to address, keeping promotional wording separate from performance answers that need documented evidence and internal review.
Connect policies, actions and performance
A policy commitment should connect to management responsibilities and implementation arrangements. An action description needs records of the work. A performance figure needs a definition and traceable data. The scope can organize policies, training, procedures, emissions, targets and assurance information by topic, with named internal owners. Linking evidence to individual answers reveals where the company has an intention, where action has started and where an outcome can already be supported.
Reuse evidence while preserving each reporting boundary
A company may be preparing a CDP questionnaire, ESG report, EcoVadis evidence and brand-customer review at the same time. A shared evidence register can reduce repeated collection, but each disclosure still needs its own checks on entities, period, topics and file requirements. Organize the core records once, then map them to each request. Where results have different boundaries, explain the difference rather than forcing every document to use the same number.
Keep communication clear and supportable
Customer materials can focus on completed accounting, specific reduction actions and traceable product information. When technical results become a chart or short statement, retain the product unit, boundary and comparison basis. Labels and assessment results need wording consistent with their rules and scope. The agreed work can cover report structure, questionnaire evidence mapping, chart explanations and communication points, helping commercial teams use the same supported account of progress across several channels.
Turn reporting gaps into improvement tasks
Missing evidence can become the next management work plan. Supplier gaps suggest procurement collaboration; targets without execution records need action owners; unsupported performance figures need stronger collection and review. A project can include an evidence-gap register and improvement recommendations so disclosure preparation connects to continuing management. The relevant body determines ratings or certification outcomes. Consulting helps the company make its underlying records, responsibilities and reporting work more coherent and easier to review.

FAQ
Questions before you decide.
Can one ESG report replace every questionnaire?
It can provide evidence, but questionnaires have different topics, boundaries and document requirements. Map the report's policies and figures to each question, add the required supporting records and confirm that the reporting period and organizational coverage match the request.
What if emissions figures differ between reports?
Check the year, organizational boundary, method and data version first. Explain justified differences in the relevant materials. If duplication, omissions or outdated records caused the issue, correct the underlying calculation and update the answers that rely on it.
Can our marketing describe a product as zero carbon?
Review its accounting, achieved reductions, credit use and applicable certification rules first. Wording should match the evidence and certified scope, with relevant boundaries explained. A single activity or credit purchase does not support a broader conclusion about the product.
